Eastman Kodak Company’s Aerial and Industrial Materials group announced their sponsorship of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) International Educational Literature Award (IELA). The award will be presented at the ASPRS annual conference in Anchorage, Alaska during the awards luncheon on Thursday, May 8th.
Since 1990, the IELA has been presented to a university or educational institution outside of the United States for the purpose of improving the quantity and quality of mapping sciences (i.e., photogrammetry, remote sensing, GIS, and related disciplines) literature in the recipient’s library.

Quinn, General Manager of Kodak's Aerial and Industrial Materials group, and Vice President, Commercial & Government Systems. "Helping to enhance the educational opportunities of international students interested in the mapping sciences encompasses what we at Kodak value -- continuous improvement and innovation."
The award consists of books, manuals, or other literature published by ASPRS complimentary subscription to industry publications and annual conferences.
