Trimble announced that its GeoExplorer CE series of GPS handheld receivers are now available with Bluetooth wireless technology and the Microsoft Windows CE.NET operating system. These new features provide mapping and mobile Geographic Information System (GIS) users with high-performance GPS field computing and the convenience of wireless connectivity. Productivity is increased not only in the field but also in the office -- where field data is immediately available for decision making.
The announcement was made at ESRI's 18th European User Conference.
