ASPRS, The Imaging and Geospatial Information Society, is holding its annual conference and exhibition, "Gateway to the New Millennium," in St. Louis, Mo., on April 23-27, 2001. In addition to the exhibition hall, the conference will feature keynote speakers, workshops and the installment of new officers. There will be over 300 technical presentations this year, ranging from issues such as data acquisition to information management. The new officers installed will include George F. Hepner to replace Alan Mikuni as president, Donald T. Lauer to be elected as ASPRS vice president, and Terrence J. Keating to assume president-elect.
