GeoSpatial World 2003 presents expanded opportunities for exhibitors to reach GIS, IT, and mapping decision makers from around the world with a new exhibitor demo theater and concentrated exhibit hours, arranged at times that minimize competing activities. This third annual conference is slated for May 19-21 in New Orleans, La. These new exhibitor features will increase marketing venues on the show floor to target GeoSpatial World attendees, decision makers, managers, staff, and users who create or use geospatial information technology. GeoSpatial World 2003, sponsored by Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions and the Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community (IGUC), is an international forum that provides training, networking, and industry insight for the mapping and GIS community. Attendees include professionals working in local, regional, and national governments; mapping agencies; military defense and intelligence organizations; public works and utilities departments; and transportation agencies. With an agenda featuring hands-on workshops, business implementation and product presentations, industry panel discussions, and networking events, the conference fosters the exchange of ideas on geospatial infrastructure management, land information management, geospatial data management, cartographic mapping, and applications development. Attendees will also get a perspective on fundamental GIS technology as well as the use of GIS in the classroom and research.
An addition to this year's GeoSpatial World exhibitor pavilion, the demo theater will highlight multimedia and interactive demonstrations of exhibitors' smart solutions to assist users in making smarter decisions. A more concentrated exhibit schedule, featuring times with fewer competing conference sessions, has been added to the mix to provide further interaction between show attendees and exhibiting companies.
