GeoSpatial World 2003, the international training and management conference of the Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community (IGUC), is featuring an expanded focus on innovative and proven techniques for deploying geospatial technology on the desktop, with mobile technology, or on the Web through five industry-focused technical program tracks and specialized tracks for developers and the education community. This year's conference emphasizes a comprehensive set of technical sessions on the real-world application of geospatial infrastructure management; land information management; geospatial intelligence; map data capture; and cartographic mapping for professionals working in local, regional, and national government, military and intelligence agencies, the transportation industry, and utilities and telecommunications organizations. Scheduled for May 19-21 in New Orleans, La., the conference combines a premier technical program, hands-on training, networking opportunities, and an exhibit of the industry's latest GIS and mapping products and services.

Final call for presentation abstracts
Conference organizers are accepting presentation proposals from GIS and mapping professionals until November 1, 2002. Presentations should cover the application of Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions desktop, Web-based, or mobile geospatial software on topics ranging from implementation processes to project results and organizational issues.
