Sanborn, a provider of geographic information systems and spatial solutions, announced the appointment of David Lewis to the position of director of sales for Colorado Springs.
In this newly created position, Lewis' primary role will be to assist in the continuing development and pursuit strategies for securing state level programs. He will be based in Sanborn's Colorado Springs office and will report directly to Jamie Curtin, Sanborn's vice president of business development and sales.
Lewis has over two decades of GIS sales experience. He comes to Sanborn from Denver-based RESOURCE21, where he was vice president of Customer Solutions for the company. Prior to that position he served as vice president of sales for Herndon, Virginia-based ISTAR; and executive vice president of Customer Solutions for St. Louis-based Surdex Corporation. Lewis also held senior management positions at TPLG and Analytical Surveys.
