“The Nevada facility compliments A.R.E.’s existing plants in Massillon and Mt. Eaton, Ohio,” said Ralph Gatti, president, A.R.E. Inc. “It will allow for faster and more efficient delivery west of the Rocky Mountains, as well as increase our production capacity nationwide.”
The 184,000 sq. ft. facility, built on more than 10 acres, will produce the company’s full line of fiberglass caps and tonneau lids. The new facility is capable of producing approximately 60 units per shift, and employs nearly 150.
A.R.E. decided to expand its manufacturing process to meet the needs of its west coast clients. The company chose Fernley, Nevada due to the city’s industrial growth and its prime location with easy access to the highway.
Chuck Monson has been appointed General Manager. He brings more than 15 years of management experience in warehousing, distribution and transportation. He is an accomplished coordinator and implementer of large-scale business start-up and expansion ventures.
