Applanix is making two significant changes to the program in order to offer better terms and better prices.

Thanks to the continued success of Applanix's POS systems since their introduction in 1993, and the significant number of systems currently in the field, Applanix has been able to modify its extended warranty to offer better terms and better prices.

In ongoing efforts to improve customers' survey effectiveness with POS systems, Applanix is making two significant changes to the program towards that goal:

  1. To ensure minimum disruption to survey schedules, Applanix will provide customers with an equivalent interim system should they need to send their POS system to Applanix under warranty.
  2. Thanks to the increased cost efficiency of Applanix's support operations, extended warranty prices are being reduced by over 20%.
