ESRI is co-sponsoring the Geography Network Challenge, a competition to increase awareness of Internet mapping services, which enable the publishing and sharing of geographic information locally, nationally and globally. The Geography Network Challenge, sponsored by both ESRI and the National Geographic Society, is a competition of Internet-based mapping services and applications. Categories include Geography-Government, data sharing, education, citizen-government, application services, conservation and science. Winning entries will receive awards totaling more than $30,000 in credit that can be used for ESRI software training and workshops, with a grand prize of $5,000 in ESRI credits.
