Following its success at OracleWorld, Copenhagen last week, Laser-Scan introduced its User Group Conference at the GeoCommunity portal.

If you couldn't make it to Denmark to see the benefits of its newest product, Radius Topology, then join the conference online at www.geocomm.com.

The past few weeks have seen some major developments, including an announcement that the billion dollar company Autodesk is undertaking a trial of Radius Topology.

Radius Topology is an advanced spatial processing environment that extends the standard Oracle9i database and provides dramatic improvements to the speed and quality of spatial data manipulation.

This year's User Group Conference has attracted influential speakers from a wide range of industries; Mike Turnill from Oracle (Global Product Manager for Server-Side Technologies) opened the event this morning with a keynote address discussing the importance of open and interoperable solutions. Tomorrow's schedule gets underway with a keynote from Niels Andersen, the Managing Director of KMS, the national mapping agency of Denmark.

Our page on GeoCommunity includes the highlights of the day's proceedings as well as informative features on presentations and workshops.
