After a seven year tenure, Diamond has accepted a position in Atlanta at S1 Corporation.

Larry Diamond has made the decision to leave Autodesk after a seven year tenure (over half of which were spent with the Autodesk GIS division). Diamond's last day will be December 6th. A search has begun for his replacement.

Diamond accepted a position in Atlanta at S1 Corporation (, a maker of enterprise software for financial institutions.

In his role as vice president of the Autodesk GIS Solutions Division over the last year and a half, Diamond has made significant strides in advancing the division’s technology and vision for helping customers improve their business efficiency and profitability in civil engineering, mapping and infrastructure management. Under Larry’s guidance, Autodesk has helped connect professionals in these three related, but distinct, industries.

In the meantime, Rick Mascitti, the Sr. Director of Engineering for GIS, will serve as interim vice president of the division. Rick has worked very closely with Larry since he became vice president of the GIS division and will continue to execute on the strategic and technical direction that Larry has set.
