Don Murphy received a service award for dedication to the Society of Land Surveyors of Iowa and the profession.
Don Murphy received the John J. Reineke Service Award for dedication to the Society of Land Surveyors of Iowa and the land surveying profession. Murphy has served on the SLSI board since 1992 and served as president in 1998. Nationally, he is a contributing writer and administrator of the Trig-Star program, a trigonometry competition for high school students. Murphy has been with Shive-Hattery, a full-service design and engineering firm in Cedar Rapids, since 1969.
