National Society of Professional Engineers recognizes outstanding engineers in government.
Ten exemplary engineers have been chosen as finalists in the Federal Engineer of the Year Award (FEYA) Program. FEYA, sponsored by NSPE's practice division Professional Engineers in Government, recognizes outstanding engineers employed in the federal government.
This year, more than twenty federal agencies nominated 31 engineers who have made a difference in the daily operations of the federal government and our country. Their achievements range from the development of technology critical to our National Security and defense operations around the world and providing logistical support to secure refugees in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as part of the War on Terrorism to supporting rescue and emergency response efforts at "Ground Zero."
