Leica Geosystems introduced the SR20 GPS receiver, a low-cost but powerful GPS surveying solution. The SR20 features an intuitive survey workflow that is both easy to learn and use for static and kinematic surveys, all within the size of a handheld receiver. Packaged with Leica Geo Office, the SR20 system provides customers with powerful post-processing and analysis and also the flexibility to upgrade to network adjustment and datum and map modules. In addition, the SR20 includes useful features such as COGO, 1-Step transformation, and ASCII Input/Output.

The SR20 includes a powerful 12-channel GPS engine that delivers centimeter accuracy for static and kinematic surveys. With tracking features such as MaxAccuracy, MaxTrak, and HyperTrak the SR20 is able to achieve the best possible accuracy in all GPS conditions.

Built for efficiency in the field, a user-friendly interface with graphical map displays, cell-phone-style keypad, and intuitive menus, makes the SR20 easy to use. The SR20 also includes a full suite of land surveying applications to make surveying calculations in the field.

The SR20 provides the maximum flexibility of any GPS receiver on the market. The SR20 is capable of centimeter accuracy using static or kinematic data collection. The SR20 is also capable of real-time sub-meter accuracy utilizing Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) corrections, such as WAAS and EGNOS. In addition, the SR20 can be upgraded to receive real-time RTCM data.
