QT Modeler and QT Reader is a 3-D visualization package that enables laser terrain mapping professionals and their clients to quickly visualize high-resolution LiDAR data.

Airborne 1 Corporation now offers QT Modeler and QT Reader, an affordable and powerful 3-D visualization package that enables laser terrain mapping professionals and their clients to quickly visualize high-resolution LiDAR data. The software was developed by John Hopkins University's Applied Physics Lab (APL) and designed using 3-D chips originally intended for the PC gaming market, enhanced data structures, as well as extensive feedback from seasoned LiDAR professionals such as Airborne 1 Corporation.

QT Modeler and QT Reader do not require underlying CAD or GIS platforms, can process models of up to 200 million points, and can import/export into multiple data formats including XYZ (ASCII), XYZI (with Intensity), LAS, GeoTIFF, and raster floating point data. Additional features include line of sight/viewshed analysis, measuring capabilities, fly-through visualization, and change-detection.
