John B. Zumwalt III, PE, was named PBS&J's new chairman of the board. Todd J. Kenner, PE, will assume the president's role.
John B. Zumwalt III, PE, was named PBS&J's new chairman of the board at the firm's Annual Service and Stockholders' Meeting, held this year in Las Vegas, Nevada, on January 26-28. Zumwalt, who has served as president of PBS&J since 2000, will continue to serve as chief executive officer (CEO). He replaces outgoing Chairman Richard A. Wickett, CPA, who announced his retirement after 31 years with PBS&J. Todd J. Kenner, PE, will assume the president's role. Kenner has served as regional director of the firm's West Region and is the director of PBS&J's National Business Development Service.
John Zumwalt joined PBS&J in 1973 and has been on the firm's board of directors since 1990. He has served in various capacities throughout his career with PBS&J, including director of Civil Engineering and principal-in-charge for numerous engineering assignments in both the public and private sectors. He was named chief operating officer in 1999, president in 2000, and chief executive officer in 2002.
