AECOM Secures $192 Million Contract
Management Services Business Unit in Integrated Logistics Support Contract
Global infrastructure firm AECOM announced its Management Services business was awarded a GSA schedule task order to provide Integrated Logistics Support services for the Project Manager (PM) of Tactical Network (TN) programs. The contract directly supports the effort to deliver a unified tactical network for the U.S. Army’s Communications-Electronics Command, headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. The 5-year contract has a maximum value of $192 million.
AECOM provides support of critical Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance systems for U.S. defense.
In October, AECOM announced it had entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of its Management Services business to affiliates of American Securities LLC and Lindsay Goldberg for a purchase price of $2.405 billion, subject to customary cash, debt and working capital adjustments. The sale transaction is expected to close in the first half of fiscal 2020. Management Services will be a privately held, government-focused business under its new owners.
