MobileDemand launched two new Android devices in 2019 in its built-to-be rugged product line.  These devices recently attained SOTI certification.  MobileDemand is also participating and exhibiting at the SOTI SYNC 2019 annual user conference in Toronto, Canada, demonstrating how the SOTI-certified devices are integrated with other technology to power enterprise mobile operations, keep devices secure and eliminate downtime.

MobileDemand recently introduced their newest Android product, the A680 Handheld device.  The A680 has now been SOTI certified, including support for Android Enterprise Management and Android+ functionality.  The Android-powered mobile handheld device features Android 8.1 OS and is one of the first on the market with GMS certifications for both the European Economic Area (EEA) and non-EEA countries.  It has a 6” display with 5-point touch capacitive screen, an integrated barcode scanner, long operating time and a swappable battery.  

The xTablet A1150 has also been certified for Android+ on SOTI MobiControl.  MobileDemand’s Android-powered mobile tablet features a compact design, 10” sunlight-viewable display, IP65 rating (for water and dust), and meets MIL-STD 810G spec surviving 26 consecutive five-foot drops.  A full system of vehicle and stationary mounts is available.  Integration options include a 2D barcode scanner and Near Field Communications (NFC).

With SOTI certification, businesses may now utilize Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions with both of MobileDemand’s Android mobile devices.  Companies can manage all deployed A680’s and xTablet A1150’s device applications, content and security.
