Pix4D is holding its first user conference on October 2-3, 2019, at the McNichols Civic Center Building in downtown Denver. This 2-day conference aims to gather Pix4D users to share their experiences from all over the world. A line-up of drone mapping innovators is listed on the website.
A 2-day Pix4Dmapper Essentials workshop will be held on September 30 and October 1 on the Metropolitan State University of Denver campus. Qualified instructors will teach best practices for capturing RGB images and creating, managing, analyzing, and sharing 2D and 3D representations of reality. A series of hands-on exercises will demonstrate how to effectively work with the Pix4Dmapper solution.
A post-conference workshop on October 4 titled rayCloud Editing Tips and Tricks will review suggested workflows for editing dense point clouds with the intent of improving the output 3D-Mesh, DSM and Orthomosaic. Instructors will review processing options for point cloud generation and strategies to produce cleaner point clouds.
