The VZ-2000i 3D from Riegl is a long-range, high-speed 3D laser scanner for terrestrial use. It captures up to 1.2 million measurements per second and covers ranges up to 2,500 meters, with 5-millimeter accuracy and 3-millimeter precision. It features Riegl's Waveform-LiDAR technology, which enables high-speed, long-range, high-accuracy measurements in poor visibility and demanding multi-target situations. Its new processing architecture enables execution of different background tasks (point cloud registration, georeferencing, orientation via integrated Inertial Measurement Unit, etc.) on-board in parallel to the acquisition of scan data.
