Teledyne Optech is partnering with Germany-based remote sensing technology specialist IGI - Integrated Geospatial Innovations. By jointly leveraging their expertise they will add new product innovations to both companies’ product portfolios. The agreement also provides Teledyne Optech with a LiDAR and camera service footprint within Europe that was previously handled remotely with in-field service technicians from Canada.

The first product created from the partnership is an Optech Eclipse high-precision LiDAR sensor driven by IGI’s CCNS-5 flight management system and their AEROcontrol Compact inertial solution for small to mid-size area projects and/or high-precision corridor surveying. The sensor features a Class 1 laser capable of 800-meter range performance on 10-percent reflective targets (8 pts/m2 at 100 knots), parallel scan lines and a tightly-integrated IGI DigiCAM-100 camera.
