Photogrammetry software is playing an important role in precision viticulture. Noveltis, a French company, has been using SimActive Correlator3D software to help determine vine health and detect missing plants with the help of multispectral drone imagery and mapping products.

“SimActive automates our production process for extracting DSMs, DTMs and orthomosaics,” says Florian Jeliazovski, project manager at Noveltis. “We greatly improved the detection of vine rows, and have been able to provide quantitative and qualitative information to our customers.”

Correlator3 and drone technology allow for efficient monitoring of high-value crops, says Philippe Simard, president of SimActive. “We are proud to support Noveltis in its innovative application of our software.”
