The U.S. Institute of Building Documentation (USIBD) is working with CD-BIM.com to offer a certification training and test online for USIBD's Level of Accuracy (LOA) Specification, Version 2.0.
The training will provide an overview of the document, and show how it will close the gap in client expectations by increasing communication, ensuring the right use of available or chosen technology, and get the right results more easily, accurately and efficiently.
Registration to take the course is online at: http://cd-bim.com/usibd/. The live online instructor-led course is $150.00. Dates for the training in 2017 are: Feb. 24, March 24 and April 28.
Registration is open up until 15 minutes preceding the events. Seminars commence at 8 a.m. Pacific Time, and last approximately three hours.
Once certified, attendees can use their expertise in the LOA V 2.0 documents when discussing proposals with clients and colleagues. Individuals who pass the test will be certified based upon Version 2 of the LOA, which was published in October 2016.
Those who pass the test will receive a certificate and a graphic "widget" to recognize their certification.
The LOA is a free download, available on USIBD's eStore at: http://www.usibd.org/estore.
