Zoller + Fröhlich Releases New Laser Scanners
The Imager 5016 is 30 percent smaller than the Imager 5010X
At this year’s Intergeo event, Zoller + Fröhlich unveiled a new generation of laser scanners, for surveyors.
The new Z+F Imager 5016 series includes all powerful features of the 5010 series, including an integrated high-definition HDR camera and the indoor and outdoor positioning system. The design is completely new. Aside from the better grip on the basis of the ergonomic streamline design, setup with high tripods and overhead applications are much easier.
In addition, the Z+F Imager 5016 is 30 percent smaller and lighter than the Z+F Imager 5010X. Due to innovative developments, the maximum range of the new Z+F Imager 5016 has been extended to up to 360 meters (1,180 feet), helping establish new opportunities and applications. Its 360-by-320-degree field of view assures great coverage of the scanned area, reducing the number of scan positions necessary to a minimum. The scanner is classified as eye safe, according to laser class 1 and can therefore be used in public areas without any restrictions.
