Sentera LLC, a global provider of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), sensors and data management platforms, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Dynamic UAV Solutions North America LLC, a new distributor in the commercial UAV space for the mapping, construction, survey, agricultural, inspection, mining, public safety and landfill industries.
"This is a big week for Sentera and Dynamic UAV Solutions. It is imperative that Dynamic's customers throughout the U.S. and Canada use high-performance, rugged reliable products for their agriculture, construction and inspection applications. Sentera's broad, high-quality product portfolio fits this need perfectly," says Dan O'Reilly of Dynamic UAV Solutions.
Dynamic UAV Solutions will distribute Sentera's suite of precision payloads and the Phoenix fixed-wing UAV. The Phoenix UAV is lightweight and durable. It features an endurance of up to 60 minutes, cruise speed of 30 miles per hour, weighs four pounds and can be hand launched. The Kestrel OnBoard autopilot ensures images are captured with precise, even spacing and overlap that is auto-calculated and can be adjusted by the user at the click of a button.
"We are thrilled to bring our deep history and proven expertise in the UAV and sensor industry to an even broader, more diverse audience with the Dynamic UAV Solutions relationship,” says Greg Emerick, executive vice president for Sentera. “This is a natural fit and a great opportunity for Dynamic's users to use world-class products, that are supported by world-class customer service."
Sentera's suite of sensors integrate seamlessly onto the Phoenix platform, allowing for high-precision data and imagery capture, with a high-precision UAV. Included in the distribution agreement are the Sentera-Q and Sentera Double 4K sensors.
Since its inception in 2014, Sentera has raised $8.5 million in capital from strategic investors. With more than 200 years of combined experience with sensors, software, UAV, data management and engineering solutions, Sentera is a designer, developer and manufacturer of remote-sensing technologies in the agriculture, infrastructure and public safety industries. Sentera's equipment has collected 25,000,000 acres of images, gathered 175 terabytes of data and conducted more than 8,000 flights.
