Cyborg Surveying and You: Defining My Blog Title

In a future blog post, I will be getting into the "cyborg" aspect of my blog, which has been about surveying so far. As a preface, I'm going to define what being a cyborg is and how it relates to us. First, the strict definition of cyborg is an organic being with mechanical parts that replace or enhance a natural function. If you wanted to, you could classify anyone with a hearing aid or pacemaker as a cyborg, and certainly those hunters and golfers out there that use hearing and vision enhancement devices to improve their game.
