R. Lee Hixson has been surveying for more than 30 years. He is licensed in California, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Idaho and Wyoming. He is currently a project surveyor for Geomatics Transportation Services Inc. in Sacramento, Calif.
For the past five years or so, I have been thinking about the organizational nature of the way we approach projects and how this has changed over time.
