Airborne Imaging Takes Delivery of Lynx Mobile Mapper M1

Optech Incorporated, the world’s leading manufacturer of advanced lidar and camera survey instruments, announced that Airborne Imaging, a Clean Harbors company based in Calgary, Alberta, has purchased Optech’s next-generation Lynx Mobile Mapper.

“We are pleased to have Airborne Imaging augment their aerial Optech equipment with a Lynx system,” said Daina Morgan, Optech’s Product Manager, Lynx Mobile Mapper. “Given their many years of experience with airborne data collection, their ability to acquire large and diverse projects, and their proven ability to adopt and embrace new technology, we anticipate many groundbreaking surveys will be undertaken by Airborne Imaging with their Lynx M1”.

Martin Maric, Airborne Imaging’s Sales Manager for Data Sales and New Acquisitions, focuses on the company’s ability to offer a more diverse product to their clients. “The company has always been a leader in aerial lidar services. This new Lynx system allows us to expand the service we offer to existing clients and lends itself to entering new and exciting markets with the latest in mobile mapping technology by the world’s leading lidar manufacturer, Optech,” he said.
