Projo.com: Rhode Island and other Northeastern states will benefit from dramatically improved data for map-making and modeling for floods and coastal erosion, thanks to a $1.4-million federal stimulus grant. 

Projo.com: Rhode Island and other Northeastern states will benefit from dramatically improved data for map-making and modeling for floods and coastal erosion, thanks to a $1.4-million federal stimulus grant. The grant will go to a $2.7-million project to map six Northeastern states using radars and computers designed to collect data every two meters, and possibly every meter, as they are flown over every part of each state.
