Chan


Magellan, San Dimas, Calif., named Nelson Chan as chief executive officer. Chan has more than 20 years of high-tech management experience, including several senior management positions in engineering, sales and marketing.

DigitalGlobe, Longmont, Colo., acquired GlobeXplorer, Walnut Creek, Calif. Together, DigitalGlobe and GlobeXplorer provide high-resolution digital Earth imagery and products. DigitalGlobe’s high-resolution, high-capacity satellite and GlobeXplorer’s web-based search and delivery applications allow for faster discovery and delivery of geospatial information and products.



Larson

RBF Consulting (RBF), Phoenix, appointed Bruce P. Larson, PE, as senior vice president and regional manager of the firm’s Arizona offices in Phoenix and Tucson. Larson has more than 20 years of experience and is responsible for supervising and directing the development of engineering, planning and surveying projects throughout Arizona. RBF also promoted Trinka Burdick to senior vice president of human resources and Barbara Eljenholm to senior vice president of corporate affairs.


Hancock Associates, Danvers, Mass., added Jamie Gayton and Matthew Wolford to its surveying team. Gayton has more than 10 years of surveying experience and works out of the Danvers office. Wolford has 16 years of surveying experience and works out of the Marlborough, Mass., office.

Keith & Associates Inc., Pompano Beach, Fla., announced A. “Dodie” Keith-Lazowick, PLS, as president and managing principal of the firm. She succeeds her father, William V. Keith, PLS. Keith & Associates was also certified as a Small/Woman Business Enterprise (SBE/WBE).



Aubertin

Bowman Consulting, Chantilly, Va., promoted Wayne Aubertin, LS, to director of surveys of its Rockville office. Aubertin is responsible for various operational aspects, including client satisfaction, project delivery, quality control and financial performance. He is an active member of the Maryland Society of Surveyors, the National Society of Professional Surveyors and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping.



Andelin

Aerial Data SERVICE (ADS), Tulsa, Okla., appointed Eric J. Andelin, GISP, as vice president of operations and project manager. Andelin has been in the aerial photography and mapping industry for more than 20 years. He is responsible for leading the management activities and overseeing the processes of all mapping activities for ADS.



Trevillian

Coleman Engineering Company, Iron Mountain, Mich., announced Kevin Trevillian, PE, as a project engineer for the firm’s civil engineering department. Trevillian is responsible for coordinating the design of highway improvement and site development projects and is a registered professional engineer in Wisconsin and Michigan.



Suggitt

Spalding DeDecker Associates, Detroit, named Dana Suggitt as member of the year by the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) Michigan Chapter. Suggitt, an engineer specializing in transportation and land development, serves as hospitality chairman and co-chair for the organization’s newsletter. She has served on the WTS-Michigan Board as a director-at-large since January 2006.
