Two Technologies offers handheld computers with MaxStream JETT Wave Radio option

July 1, 2006

Two Technologies now offers handheld computers with a MaxStream JETT Wave Radio option. By taking advantage of the JETT Pack peripheral connection system, the 900 MHz spread spectrum JETT Wave Radio can be added to many of Two Technologies' handheld computers, including the JETT XL and JETT eye. The JETT Wave Radio supports various communication configurations, including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and multi-drop networking topologies. With this module, Two Technologies' handheld computers can wirelessly communicate with equipment and other handheld computers at longer ranges-up to several miles in line-of-sight applications and up to 3,000 feet in typical indoor/urban environments. In addition, the handheld computers can selectively communicate different sets of data to specific points with minimal configuration. (Two Technologies Inc., Horsham, Pa.)(MaxStream, Lindon, Utah)
