Dario Conforti Joins Optech's Industrial & 3D Imaging Division

Toronto, Canada, March 31, 2006 - Optech Incorporated has strengthened its European market and customer support by adding Dario Conforti to our International Applications Support Team. Dario Conforti, formerly employed by Codevintec Srl, Optech's Italian sales and European Service Center partner, will be working directly with Optech starting April 1, 2006.

Toronto, Canada, March 31, 2006 - Optech Incorporated has strengthened its European market and customer support by adding Dario Conforti to our International Applications Support Team. Dario Conforti, formerly employed by Codevintec Srl, Optech's Italian sales and European Service Center partner, will be working directly with Optech starting April 1, 2006.

"We are very excited about this addition to our support infrastructure and especially the fact that he will be permanently based in Europe," says Albert Iavarone, Product Manager for the Industrial & 3D Imaging Division. "Our existing customers and distribution network will now have a more accessible resource, improving Optech's already strong focus on customer support."

Dario brings with him a wealth of knowledge in terrestrial three dimensional scanning, as well as airborne and bathymetric data collection techniques. He holds a degree in Urban Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic Institute and has presented numerous papers on point cloud data fusion and other 3D scanning technologies. He has spent the past several years with Codevintec as their Technical Applications Specialist, primarily focused on Optech's line of ILRIS scanning products.
