Point of Beginning

First annual NovaLIS User Conference set for Daytona Beach 08.08.2002

August 8, 2002
The conference schedule includes seminars for participants ranging from beginners to the most advanced users of NovaLIS’ integrated land records management software.

NovaLIS Technologies will host its first annual user conference this November 13-16, 2002 at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The comprehensive conference schedule includes seminars for participants ranging from beginners and managers, to the most advanced technical users of NovaLIS’ integrated land records management software and the TerraSoft division of NovaLIS’ CAMA solution.

“This year’s conference theme - Coming Together – is significant for a couple of reasons,” says NovaLIS President/CEO Gary Waters.

“First, it refers to gathering our users together. The feedback that we receive from our customers is one of the most important drivers of our product development. With the rapid growth in our customer base over the past year, we felt it was time to bring our customers together at an annual conference.

“Second, it signifies the ability of our land records management solutions to integrate computer systems, streamline land records functions, and reduce administrative costs.”

Last year, NovaLIS purchased TerraSoft Systems Inc., and the company and its customers became a division of NovaLIS. In addition to its own CAMA solution Assessment Office, NovaLIS continues to support the TerraSoft CAMA solution. This conference will include a complete program for its users.

“This conference will give us the opportunity to formally welcome users of TerraSoft’s CAMA solution into the NovaLIS family, and introduce them to our GIS-based CAMA solution, Assessment Office,” adds Waters.

Conference attendees will have the chance to interact with NovaLIS developers, system implementers, and product specialists in classroom as well as social settings. Presentations by NovaLIS will include introductory and technical sessions on each product, and demonstrations of future technology. A Doctor’s Clinic will give customers the opportunity to go one-on-one with a technical staff.

In addition to NovaLIS sessions, business partners and customers will deliver presentations. In addition, a Partner Expo will give customers the chance to mingle with NovaLIS business partners to learn about the complementary services and solutions they provide.
