November 1, 2001
Many types of coordinate conversions can now be performed on data.

Golden Software Inc. released Didger 3. Didger 3 transforms information into a versatile digital format that can be used with other software. Maps, aerial photos, graphs and other data can be digitized using a Wintab 32 compatible digitizing tablet, on-screen, or using a GPS unit. Many types of coordinate conversions and projection transformations can also be performed on data. New features include the ability to import a georeferenced raster image into a vector project, the ability to warp (rubber sheet) or convert the projection of your raster image, GPS compatibility, automatic grid and graticule creation, and the ability to export in LAS format. Didger 3 also includes an enhanced “always on” Layer Manager and a new Coordinate Manager. (Golden Software Inc., Golden, Colo.)
