NavCom Technology Inc. Introduced Safari Network SR-7100 Mark II

NavCom Technology Inc. introduced its new mobile wireless broadband network radio, the Safari Network SR-7100 Mark II. Unlike local area wireless communications systems such as 802.11b, the Safari Network SR-7100 Mark II transmits high-speed data traffic to vehicles over a wide area using only the license-free 2.4 GHz band and wireless repeater cells. This makes it a much more cost-efficient system and allows for full-duplex Ethernet service and serial data service at all mobile access points as well as at fixed repeater sites. NavCom’s patented direct sequence spread spectrum transmission technology enables it to securely support multiple, simultaneous applications using different communication protocols.
