Laser-Scan Hosts Free Seminar 03.17.2003

Laser-Scan, in partnership with Ordnance Survey, is hosting a free seminar, specifically for the telecommunications industry.

Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at the Ordnance Survey Business Centre in Southampton, http://www.radius.laser-scan.com/events/telecomseminar2003.htm.

The free seminar is called 'Modernising Government through integrated geographic information.'

Laser-Scan's partner, SciSys, will host a FREE half-day seminar for UK Government to find out about the benefits of GIS.

The seminar will provide a useful starting point for anyone considering GIS as well as a helping hand for those who are already using GIS, but want to make sure they're gaining all the benefits. Delegates will learn:

  • How GIS can help in achieving 2005 e-government targets
  • How GIS and data re-engineering can help solve specific problems
  • How to implement a successful GIS strategy within their organisation.

Laser-Scan User & Partner Conference

In line with Laser-Scan's partnering strategy, the 2003 Conference has been re-shaped to offer a platform for Laser-Scan's partners and users to come together to debate the key issues facing today's geospatial community and to explore Laser-Scan's product suite.
