Coordinate Measurement Systems Committee Calls for Technical Papers

The Coordinate Measurement Systems Committee (CMSC) announced that it is requesting technical papers for the CMSC 2003 meeting which is scheduled to be held in Greenville, South Carolina from Monday, July 21, 2003 to Friday, July 25, 2003.

The Committee is looking for papers from the U.S. and international users on interesting applications of measurement technologies in areas including:

  • Alignment systems
  • Targeting hardware
  • Portable CMMs
  • Theodolites
  • Laser trackers
  • Laser radar
  • Photogrammetry / videogrammetry systems

According to Gary Johanning, chairman of the event, “The technical presentations have historically been the primary focus since our first meeting in 1984. We all benefit from the insights into new applications. This year we are also looking forward to workshops, the exhibit forum and the events graciously hosted by BMW Manufacturing Corp.”
