PCI Geomatics and Sensor Systems Unveil Strategic Partnership 11.12.2002

November 12, 2002
PCI Geomatics and Sensor Systems announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement. According to the terms of the agreement, PCI Geomatics will become a Master Reseller for Sensor Systems' flagship imagery exploitation and analysis product family, RemoteView.

Sensor Systems' president Kirk Brown stated, "We are very pleased to enter into a partnership with PCI Geomatics. Very few remote sensing software companies enjoy such a positive, global reputation as PCI." Through this agreement, PCI will be able to offer Sensor Systems' RemoteView family of image exploitation and analysis products through the PCI Geomatics international reseller network. The PCI Geomatics reseller network offers a vehicle through which existing and emerging markets worldwide can now be served with the RemoteView family, the industry leader in electronic light table (ELT) imagery exploitation products.

"The RemoteView product family is a natural complement to the Geomatica product line." states Ian Suttie, COO for PCI Geomatics. "Where RemoteView is the world's premier image exploitation tool, Geomatica gets high marks for end-to-end "industrial strength" image processing, photogrammetry, spatial analysis, and cartographic tools, thus offering our customers big steps forward in imagery and geospatial data processing productivity. Our customers and international reseller network have been quick to see how RemoteView and Geomatica can work together to their benefit."

Customers with high volume, broad area monitoring requirements as well as more detailed scientific analysis will benefit from this partnership. Through the PCI reseller network, customers now have a single source at their disposal for the full range of imagery, geomatics, and remote sensing exploitation and analysis tools. The PCI Geomatics product suite, together with the RemoteView family of products, offers unprecedented synergy and solutions for all customer needs.
