Berntsen International Introduced the Atlas Copco Cobra Combi Breaker/Drill

June 1, 2004
Berntsen International introduced the Atlas Copco gasoline-powered Cobra Combi breaker/drill. The Cobra Combi meets U.S. EPA Phase I emission regulations by being equipped with a catalytic converter and carburetor. New vibration-dampening handles have reduced vibration levels more than 35 percent, and a new silencer has cut noise levels. The Combra Combi does not require the set up of compressors, hoses or cables. Weighing less than 60 lbs, it is available with a carrying harness. This machine is an ideal tool for installing any of Berntsen's patented rod monument systems, when users need precise vertical control with monuments driven to refusal. This multi-purpose machine has a range of 18 different tools so it can be used for everything from driving to drilling, and compacting and breaking up concrete and asphalt.
