Autodesk Names Chris Bradshaw Vice President of GIS Division 01.28.2003

Bradshaw is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing daily operations for the GIS division.

Autodesk announced that Chris Bradshaw has been named Vice President of the GIS division, effective immediately. In this role, he is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing daily operations for the GIS division. Bradshaw joins GIS after holding a number a senior management and leadership roles at Autodesk. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Autodesk Building Collaboration Services (BCS), responsible for collaboration services in the building industry. Having managed multiple global product launches for Autodesk's leading software applications including AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT, during his eight years at Autodesk, he has developed an extensive knowledge base for brand management and product marketing.

Prior to Autodesk, Bradshaw managed flight software development for the United States Air Force, guiding the development, testing and integration of on-board computer systems for two national space programs. Bradshaw holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Duke University.

Chris inherits a strong management team that will continue executing on GIS's vision for helping civil engineering, mapping and infrastructure management customers operate more efficiently and profitably. Chris will apply his experience toward building the momentum the division has established.

Rick Mascitti, who served as the GIS interim vice president, will return to his role as senior director of engineering for GIS.

Amar Hanspal, senior director of engineering of Autodesk Building Collaboration Services, will assume leadership responsibilities within the BCS organization.
