McKim & Creed Announces New Staff 4.21.04

Janet Jackson, Alan Jacobson and Seth Swaim have joined the company in GIS positions.

McKim & Creed, an engineering and surveying firm with offices throughout the Southeast, is pleased to announce that the following GIS professionals have recently joined the company:
  • Janet Jackson, GISP, comes to McKim & Creed as GIS (Geographic Information System) manager. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a degree in geography, GIS/information science. Prior to joining McKim & Creed, she served as GIS coordinator for the Orange Water and Sewer Authority in Orange County, N.C.
  • Alan Jacobson, PE, comes to McKim & Creed as a GIS manager. He brings more than 21 years of experience in civil engineering and GIS, and is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, where he earned a B.S. in geological engineering. Before coming to McKim & Creed he was GIS manager with HDR Engineering in Charlotte, N.C.
  • Also new to McKim & Creed is Seth Swaim, a GIS technician. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University and, prior to joining McKim & Creed, worked as a research associate with the university's Municipal Technical Services Program.
