Leica Geosystems Introduces SPRINTER 100/100M Electronic Levels

December 1, 2004
Leica Geosystems introduced the SPRINTER 100/100M series of electronic levels. With the SPRINTER 100/100M measurements are displayed and recorded in less than three seconds using a bar-coded staff. The level's electronic eye eliminates the main sources of leveling errors. The built-in tilt-warning sensor ensures that the unit is level before measurements are recorded. Reduced levels and height differences are automatically computed. Other added value functions include continuous tracking mode, inverse staff measuring mode, onboard adjustment program, auto off power saving and reduced levels input mode. The SPRINTER 100M model provides internal memory for up to 500 measurements and an RS232 interface for easy data management. The package includes Leica's Geo Office Tools software for easy transfer of data to a computer. (Leica Geosystems, Atlanta, Ga.)
