The process of accessing and editing all your 2D and 3D graph items has been streamlined in Grapher 5.

Golden Software Inc. has upgraded its Grapher 2D and 3D graphing package by streamlining the process of accessing and editing all your graph items. With just a single click in Grapher 5, you can perform common tasks that took many steps in previous versions of Grapher. Four new graph types in Grapher 5 give users more options to determine which graph type displays their data most effectively.

Grapher 5, with more than 100 new features and enhancements, is now available at a retail price of $299. Upgrades from previous Grapher versions are only $99.

Introduced in 1986, Grapher is designed for scientists, engineers and business professionals. Users can convert their data into one of twenty-six striking fully-customizable graph types. Grapher is known for its easy-to-use user interface and for creating professional graphs.

Two other powerful upgrades to Grapher 5 are the ability to move plot labels using the mouse to eliminate overlapping and unreadable plot labels, and the ability to rotate 3D graphs interactively. These enhanced options allow users to more easily customize the appearance of their graphs. Users can also fully customize any toolbar by adding frequently used Grapher commands to any of the toolbars or removing unused commands from any of the toolbars.

Grapher 5 is fully compatible with other software. It imports and exports data files in all popular formats, and its functionality can be integrated with any ActiveX Automation-compatible software. Visual Basic, C++ and Perl scripts can be used to call Grapher to automate repetitive functions.
