MicroSurvey has released MicroSurvey CAD 2014, an upgrade to its survey and design software that features new functionality for geospatial data, imagery, coordinate systems and geodetic tools.

MicroSurvey CAD 2014 also includes the Global Mapper v15 SDK that provides support for more than 1,000 different elevation, imagery and vector formats.microsurvey_logo_inbody

In addition, the software can connect to online spatial databases and online imagery providers.

MicroSurvey president Darcy Detlor said the company relied on customer feedback for many of the new features.

"Several years ago we implemented a transparent and easy to use online feedback forum where our customers could submit their ideas and suggestions for improvements to our products," Detlor said. "The feedback system lets our users propose their feature requests and allows them to cast votes on any request that has been submitted. Requests with the most votes are given the highest priority and get our attention, ensuring that we are working on features that our customers really want."

MicroSurvey CAD 2014 is now available, and all versions (Basic, Standard, Premium, Ultimate and Studio) have been updated. For more information, go to the MicroSurvey website.
