Topcon’s Burgess to Address Sacramento Revit User Group

Presentation will focus on laser scanning technology for BIM workflow

Topcon’s Brad Burgess will present “Mobile technology: Improved collaboration for AEC (architect/engineer/contractor) workflow” at the Sacramento Revit User Group meeting Tuesday, Nov. 12. 

The presentation is scheduled for noon­-1 p.m. at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Central Valley.Burgess_inbody

Burgess is the national sales manager for scanning products at Topcon Positioning Systems.

The session will provide an overview of 3D laser scanning technology along with tips on how Revit users can best engage with point cloud data. Autodesk Revit is software for architectural design, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineering, structural engineering and construction.
