My sokkia radian dealer says that RTK is possible to reach above 10 km using radio/cell.I have used RTK in the past for topo survey but the base is located less than 500m-1km away via radio link.A client was asking me if it is possible to cover a topo/hydro several kilometers away from base - 5km-10km?Anyone tried doing this? What will your vertical accuracy be in the 10 km range be? I am asking for actual not product specifications.When we were doing bathymetry survey with rtk, post processing from 2 base units still results in points with deviation in the >10 cm.And the distances are less than 2km away.Thanks.
