Positioning Systems delivered 20 APS-3U GNSS surveying instruments to TerraView
Surveys, a Canadian seismic surveying company based in Calgary, Alberta.
The Altus APS-3U receivers are being used with Nautiz NX7 data collectors and MicroSurvey Seismic Surveyor software for seismic surveying and GIS mapping applications. TerraView also uses GPSeismic and GrafNav software for post processing.
Ron Stewart, president, TerraView Surveys commented, “The Altus APS-3U receivers have greatly improved our productivity, especially when working beneath heavy tree cover. The data is far superior to what we were getting before. Occupation times have decreased, resulting in more production from the crews and reducing our need for post processing data collected in treed areas.”
