At the conference, Jon Skiffington, director of product management, will give a presentation titled, “Easily Manage Large Imagery and LiDAR Datasets”.
“Imagery and elevation data are critical for today’s decision makers, but the volume and size of data can be unwieldy,” said Skiffington. “I’m excited to demonstrate how LizardTech's MrSID technology makes it possible to highly compress images and LiDAR data for efficient analysis and delivery.” The presentation will take place on June 5th from 1:15 p.m. -2:00 p.m. in Salon 10.
LizardTech representatives will be available to conduct demonstrations of the company’s entire line of geospatial products: GeoExpress software, which enables geospatial professionals to compress and manipulate satellite and aerial imagery, Express Server software for high-performance delivery and publication and LiDAR Compressor software, which turns giant point cloud datasets into efficient MrSID files.
