TARENTUM, Pa. - John Harrocks has joined the Tarentum, Pa. office of R.A. Smith National - civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, GIS and 3D visualization consultants - as a survey technician.

Harrocks has more than eight years of experience as a survey technician and survey crew chief, completing ALTA/ACSM land title surveys; boundary surveys; topographic surveys; residential, commercial and federal highway surveys; construction staking; and platting and staking of gas and oil wells.

Harrocks has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and geography from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Aspinwall, Pa.
