Aurora, Colo. – Ralph W. Christie, Jr. PE, chairman and CEO of Merrick & Company announced that Christopher Sherry, PE has been promoted to senior vice president, where his responsibilities include leading the firm’s Business and Corporate Development Group.

I look forward to Chris’ impact on Merrick’s continued growth in his new position and contributions to Merrick’s ‘Vision 2020’ program,” added Christie.

Some of Sherry’s responsibilities in his new position include the planning, development and implementation of the company’s business development, marketing, and merger and acquisition programs, including all subsidiaries.

Sherry has worked out of Merrick’s company office located in Aurora, Colo., for over 22 years. Prior to this promotion, he has served in the capacity of vice president, corporate services, where he oversaw the company’s financial services, information technology, risk management and stock programs. He also has held significant leadership positions in the project management and design of many of Merrick’s military and government projects.

Sherry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Master of Business Administration from Daniels College of Business, University of Denver.
